Dan Zura’s sophomore LP, inspired by distance, Texas, Vermont, whiskey, waists, plains, mood disorders, addiction, pottery, and zazen. Equal parts psych-folk, pop balladry, honky tonk and good old rock and roll.
released January 1, 2018
The players were Dan Zura on guitars and voice, Ben Roy on drums, Eric Clifford on basses and percussion, and Asa Brosius on pedal steel. Eric Clifford engineered and produced, Colin McCaffrey mastered.
Frank Woods and Owen Walz contributed art, Bridget Lasch designed with Dan over her shoulder annoyingly.
This record will engulf you in fiery bliss! Then extinguish you with a set of tasty waves. The songs are amazing, and each of these players knows how to hit their instrument real hard. And they do. Dan Zura
